Firefighter Awards

Each year the special awards are given out to recognize certain Firefighters. These awards are handed out to the Firefighter at our annual "spring-fling" appreciation dinner in early February.

Firefighter Awards
2006	Recognition Award - Capt. Srnek received a certificate of recognition for being training coordinator for the last five years.
2006	Recognition Award - A/C Uptmor received a certificate of merit for writing and receiving a 2006 firefighter assistance grant worth $62,500.00
2006	Service Award - 10 years of service - Paul Baldwin
2006	Service Award - 5 years of service - Alan Reinhardt
2004	Recognition Award - Chief 3 Matt Uptmor for hours of work for the FEMA Grant
2004	Recognition Award - Chief 2 Paul Behmlander for hours of work entering Fire Reports
2004	Recognition Award - Retired Firefighter Mike Davis for numerous years assisting the fire department
2004	Recognition Award - Firefighter Travis McQuinn for assisting last two years of probationary firefighters
2004	Recognition Award - Firefighter Barry Nelson for three years of entering payroll information
2004	Cleanest Gear Award - Firefighter Adam Jaime

2004	Gene Trachet Driving Award - Chief Alan Malesky
2004	First Engine-7 Missing Paint Award - Firefighter Alan Reinhardt
2003	Budget Committee Presented - A/C Al Malesky with a homemade blitz fire nozzle
2003	"We lost power award" Presented - Lt. Dan Wiltse and Alan Reinhardt for losing all apparatus power while responding with an 2nd due engine.
2003	"Gene Trachet Driving Award" Presented - Chief Mike Burger for denting the DPW truck again.
2003	"Gene Trachet Driving Award" Presented - A/C Paul Behmlander for backing his pick up into another vehicle.
2003	"Dead Battery Award" Presented - Captain Matt Uptmor for leaving his lights on at an emergency scene and needing a jump-start.
2003	"Lost equipment award" Presented - Lt. Dan Wiltse for losing his P.A.S.S. device while en-route to a vehicle fire.
2003	"Found and destroyed equipment award" Presented - A/C Paul Behmlander for driving over a P.A.S.S. device.
2003	"Best Internet Personality Award" Presented - Captain Matt Uptmor for his infamous picture of him standing in fornt of a UPS vs. Fed Ex accident.
